Guys, I know a lot about computers. I build, refurb, and repair. I have seen something tonight I have never seen before. Has anyone here ever experienced an automatic BIOS update upon booting an HP PC? No HP bloatware installed, no support assistant, etc. This is scary. I never heard of an automatic BIOS update.
Hey guys, do any of you have a WD MyCloud EX2? I have all kinds of issues with mine and Google gets me nowhere. Seems most of the software is outdated, and things don't work like they should. I would appreciate any info you may have.

Does anyone have any possible solutions for this dilemma? I have 3 identical Samsung 32" curved monitors. All running the same wallpaper, WB, etc. All hooked to same graphics card, all HDMI. (One is DP to HDMI). The right and left screens look normal. The center has a pinkish cast/tint to it. Only see it on light wallpapers/windows, notepad, etc. All 3 have been reset to factory defaults.
Hey there, Multiplicity Devs. I have a triple boot system on the other end of the house from my main rig. I know this isn't currently possible, but is there any way it could be in the future? I'd like to be able to reboot from one OS to another via KVM. But, of course, Multi. isn't loaded yet when I see the OS choice screen. Is it even in the realm of possibility for a future version?
Hey guys. Who is into VR? I recently set up 2 rigs for VR. One with Oculus Rift, the other with the HTC Vive. I'd be interested in any talk, info, discussion on either system, or maybe any other options for VR. Pros, cons, what have you. Got anything to say?
I have 8 ram slots, and a quad channel board. I can't get the system to boot with any more than 2 ram sticks installed. 6 empty ram slots just bothers me to no end.
I have a question for the power users out there. All bragging rights aside. If you do a little gaming, and a little skinning, is 32 GB of DDR3 ram overkill? I have an 8 core CPU with a 240 GB SSD, and a R9 290 4 GB graphics card. Do I need 32 GB of ram, or is 16 enough?

I have a PC that was running a triple boot setup just a few days ago. All was well. Was a tri boot system for close to a year now, no problems. It has an Intel SSD and 2 hard drives. I decided to lose the Windows 7, and Windows 8.1 and do a fresh install of Windows 10. Nothing else added, at all. Now it won't shut down when I hit the shutdown button. The screen goes black, but the fans and leds keep running. Any ideas as to what could be wrong?
I will likely get one of these! It makes any screen a touchscreen. Awesome, check it out! Click the external link. Sadly, it only goes up to 15.3 inches.
Guys, do you think I should bother putting an SSD I have laying around into a laptop with only a 1.3 ghz dual core processor and 4 GB ram? Is it worth it? I plan to sell the laptop.
Guys, I thought this was cool, just wanted to share!
Guys, I just learned something the hard way that some of you may have already known. Because of it, I will be doing a factory reset on my laptop back to Windows 8.1 from Windows 10. Here's what happened: I upgraded my brand new Dell laptop to Windows 10. Then, stupidly, I chose the option in Windows Updates Advanced Options to opt in to Insider Builds. Mistake. It "upgraded" me to Insider build 10532 which put a watermark on my screen, and what's worse, when ...
Hey guys, I know I have seen the remedy for this before, but does anyone know what causes an explorer window to go blank, with an outline, when dragging? Windows 8.1 64 bit.
