I know Windows 11 is new, but I have it on several PCs and ODM errors on checking for updates on all of them. Just a heads up.

What happens if you launch ODM as admin:
I ended up doing a fresh install of 11. I will return. Keep an eye on this thread and I'll answer Sean's last question.
This issue has gone away after a fresh install of Windows 11.
