Just my thoughts....
I'm Just Sayin'

With the risk of being labeled as a Stardock suck up, I would just like to say how much I appreciate the latest activation setup that Stardock has employed.

I have a varying number of PCs in my home (usually around 8 or 9, which is why I have 2 Stardock accounts) that mostly all run a varying mixture of Stardock products. I build PCs as a hobby now, since skinning has kind of become a secondary hobby. And, as a good builder, I use the systems I build for a bit before I sell them. Just to ensure stability.  Complete with Stardock products, (uninstalled, of course, before selling) because. let's face it, you can't run a PC without Stardock.

As such, I hate when I have to deal with some of the legacy products that do not employ the newer activation system. Having to have one's activations reset is a PITA, to say the least. I wish older products like CursorFX, etc. could be updated to use the same activation system. I have recently been in touch with Stardock support on the subject, and told that there is no plan to add the current activation system to older products, namely CFX, I do wish that that wasn't the attitude.

Tonight, I had to do a fresh install of Windows 10 due to stupidity on my part. Installing and more importantly, activating the Stardock products was fluid, smooth, and easy!

I am very impressed with the ease of activating and deactivating Stardock products! When done correctly, the activation process is easy, smooth, and pretty much "self contained?"

It took me a while to "get it", but as one who reinstalls, deactivates, and reactivates more often that most, I have come to appreciate the ease of the system.

Yes!  I suspect that Frogy's love of PC games, he lavishes a tad more corporate resources in gaming related areas, than would a mere business person.  Whatever the reason, its one of many reasons I support Stardockians.    SD rocks!
