My brother is in ICU on life support, prayers needed...he has respiratory failure, lungs full of fluid, high CO2 and low oxygen levels, very confused, and it seems he's been off his meds for diabetes, etc.

He smokes, eats too much, generally doesn't take care of himself.

They have him at critical status.

I would appreciate any prayers and well wishes.

EDIT: My brother is now gone.  See my last post.

It is with a sad heart that I tell you that Chelsea has left us today at the age of 12+.  She had a good long life, we did all we could for her.

Due to increasing health problems and old age, we had to help her to go to the Rainbow Bridge.

Chelsea was a 6 month old pup when we rescued her from the local animal control, scheduled to be put down the next day.

Chelsea, we miss you. Say hello to Spanky, Precious, Macy, and Santana for us.

Feeling sad today. My best buddy in the world, Spanky, died this morning at 6:30 AM. He apparently had a heart attack.
He was a good dog. I miss him already.
We were close. He loved me and showed it. Life will go on, but it'll never be the same......

Guys, I thought I'd break a pattern and write a post about me, for a change....heheh...

This Friday, I will be having an ablation.

For those who don't know, it's a simple procedure where the Dr. will do a heart catheterization through my groin, up a vein/artery, and into my heart. He will cauterize a line of spots on the inside of my atrium in an effort to correct my atrial flutter. If that doesn't work, I will be fitted with a pacemaker.

A mo...

Well, I hope this isn't spam, but I'll risk it for a good cause.

Guys, as I did last year, I'm walking for The March Of Dimes and Eli's Miracle Makers is the team I'm with.

Eli is an awesome child....you gotta love him.

Anyway, I hope you'll stop by my site and maybe make a donation, or just stop and look.

It's a really good cause, and I need the exercise...lol.

Myasthenia Gravis

Does anyone have first hand experience/knowledge with this condition?

If so, please chime in here, or PM me.

I just want to know if it's as bad as Google links say it is.

My Mom in law has it, (pending further testing) and her future looks pretty dim.

Any info you have would be appreciated.

Thanks.

OK, guys, I have a question. One which seems simple to me, but I would like some other viewpoints on it.

My son came to live with my current wife and I when he was 14. My wife can't have kids, so she was elated to have one in the home.

However, he didn't stay long. He wanted to go back to the people who raised him, my brother and his wife. I saw this coming. I knew he would be homesick for the only parents he ever knew.  He threatened suicide and I didn't want to risk...

I can see that my Skinner Spotlight might be easier to do from here. It seems to be set up differently. I dunno.

I'm gonna look into it. Suggestions welcome.
