Just a curiousness here. Just wondering.....
Since WC has a Winstep library, can Winstep themes be sold here? If you're a Master, that is? Or would that be a copyright thing?
Again, just curious.
gef did a couple (in 2009), so unless something has changed ...

Yes, I see. I had forgotten. TY.
Folks may be interested to know that Winstep Xtreme is on sale ( 50% off ) again.

And v18.3 of Winstep Xtreme, Nexus and Nexus Ultimate has just been released too, with lots of new goodies as usual. Current promotion is a partnership with BitsDuJour, so grab it while it's hot.
Yeah, I think I'm due a renewal. Looking good, Jorge!
Thanks, Jim.
I keep eyeballing that Winstep Themes Manager source code, just FYI...
Yep, looking good, Jorge. I think I have a while to go on my current subscription, but I believe it's due for renewal around June, Julyish, so I may as well do it now to save forgetting again. Did that last time and got a bit lost trying to renew later on.
Oh, don't worry, don't do that as the renewals are not cumulative and the application will remind you when the time comes - after that reminder you will also get a new button in the About tab of Preferences saying 'Renew Now' which will take you straight to the renewal page.
That was the other problem last time. Due to some PC issues I didn't have Xtreme installed at the time, and when I went to install and register it, I could not find the email with my pruduct key, hence I needed to email you for help with the renewal. Thanks, BTW.
Anyway, I don't currently have Xtreme on this little 2-in-1, but once I've made some adjustments to my desk I'll fire up my main rig and take a look at the improvements and new features of the latest build.
You can always read about those in the News section of the Winstep web site: the release announcements provide an highlight of the most important new features (with pretty pictures, eheh) as well as a full blown change log at the end (boring, but you can always admire its length ).

I know that I can look at the changelog and pretty pictures, but I like new toys and wanna play with 'em.
Unfortunately, I was made some BIOS adjustments, ones I had successfully done many times before, and now I can't get the beast to fire up. I tried several times after clearing the CMOS, etc, but it keeps looping back to the same error code, 0d, which according to the manual is reserved for a future error. And using the mobo disc to reset the BIOS does not work, so I will have to find another way. Hopefully a visit to the ASUS site will help me resolve the issue.
In the meantime, however, I do have a second big beastie that I can try out the latest and greatest Xtreme.
Nice updates!
Wow buddy! Really nice updates!
Yeah, totally rad and totally cool. Best part about it, for me, that is, is that I rediscovered the way to reset the BIOS directly on the mobo and get my No1 big beastie going. Geez, my memory can be shocking at times. I should have known how, but it took a visit to the ASUS site to figure it out. I shall be doing that as soon as the vertigo settles down, then a few moments later I'll be viewing them on my new 35" widescreen monitor.
Oh how I love screen real estate.
For some reason, the volume control in the media player doesn't work for me.
Love the animations for dock icons, Jorge!!!
With the media control bar open (the bar with the green icons that pops up when you click on the Media Player icon) what happens when you roll the mouse scroll wheel down while playing music? It should change the volume.
