Just my thoughts....
I thought this interesting!

I will likely get one of these!

It makes any screen a touchscreen. Awesome, check it out!  Click the external link.

Sadly, it only goes up to 15.3 inches.

Sadly, it only goes up to 15.3 inches.

Sadly, the screens I'd need this for are larger:  1x18"; 2x22"; 1x27 and 1x29".  The only screen I could use it on is 'touch' enabled already.

However, should they eventually go up to 27" - 29", I'd be interested in trying it out.

Yeah, I'd need at least 23 for a desktop, or 17.3 for my laptop.

I have a HP 23" touch monitor that serves my purposes on the desktop, but with 3, soon to be 4 desktop rigs in the house, Airbar could prove useful to enable touch on all of them... if it included the larger sizes, that is.  Oh well, time will tell if this ever happens.

If this works, it's a LOT cheaper than buying a new laptop to get the touch features of Win10!

So, I preordered one.

A 27 inch one is just what I need, a way to put fingerprints on $800 displays...

I don't care for fingerprints either. Fortunately, it costs nothing to wipe them off.

I have a 24 inch touch monitor that cost 600.00. Guess I shouldn't touch it...

My sentiments entirely....and half the reason Win 8, 8.1 and 10 all missed the point of what a Computer GUI is SUPPOSED to be.

Only wankers have 27" cellphones...

In this "wanker's" defense, there are some pretty cool games I like to play that work best on a touch monitor. Rise of Atlantis being one of them.

I mostly play it on my 27 inch HP Envy Recline AIO touch (cellphone) PC.

There is in no way the user interface is superior to a desktop.

Like the Dude said, they're easy... AND cheap to remove.

Only problem is, the NSA then has them.

Take away the Metro crap and Win 8/8.1 has little difference to Vista and Win 7.... add Start8 and Windowblinds and there is NO difference.  And let's not get into the argument that it took Stardock to fix MS' eff-ups, etc... Stardock has been 'fixing'  MS' shortcomings since XP and before.

Without the gaudy tile section on the start menu, Win 10 has little to no difference, also.... Start10 resolves that and the GUI is functional AND presentable.  Like I've said before, Microsoft hasn't a clue about designing icons or a GUI.  It's common knowledge, hence the existence Stardock and other 3rd party fixers.

How rude, revealing dirty little secrets that neither I or RND wanted to be made public knowledge.   Well I guess I must have my hands on it more than most.  I have 23" and 13.3" touch screens... with every intention of getting Airbar for my 27" if it ever goes up to that size.

Thing is, a touch screen has saved my bacon more than once.  Every time MS downloaded and installed Microsoft Keyboard and Mouse Centre for my NON MS keyboard and mouse, which was often, both my keyboard and mouse were inaccessible, thus leaving 'touch' as my only means of access to the device.  Besides, touch is necessary because it doubles as a tablet.
